The rustic Portuguese country house with outbuildings from the XIX. Century has been lovingly converted into four cottages "casas" and restored in the typical style of the Algarve. The large garden with olive, fig and carob trees, herbs and organically cultivated vegetable garden create a very special ambience. The pool surrounded by banana and palm trees provides for fun and recreation.

The individual casas are stylishly decorated with great attention to detail. The kitchens are large and modern. Upon agreement, we are willing to prepare typically Portuguese dishes using ingredients from our own organic garden and freshly caught seafood from the Atlantic Ocean for our guests. Moreover we would be pleased to arrange for sailing and boat tours, in the low seasons walktours. In addition to Internet access via WiFi, car hire and rental bikes are available. Pets are also welcome.

All residential facilities are equipped with fully stocked kitchens with four-flame burners, and modern appliances (microwave, refrigerator, etc.). The bathrooms have a shower or a bathtub (Casa Alpendre).

The Quinta Monte Gião is located in the Algarve quietly between Olhão and Tavira, near the Roman town of Moncarapacho, surrounded by orange and lemon groves.

It is situated apart from the tourist strongholds in the neighbourhood of the beautiful reserve of Ria Formosa where in addition to a unique fauna and flora you may as well enjoy miles of fantastic deserted sandy beaches.

Overall, the Quinta Monte Gião can accommodate up to 18 guests and taking into account also the desire for personal privacy. Here you will find peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings.
